Informatica Named One Of “The Dozen” Companies That Matter Most To The Intelligent Enterprise

Informatica has been recognized by CMP's Intelligent Enterprise as one of "The Dozen" most influential companies that will drive the intelligent enterprise in 2008. The acknowledgment comes as part of Intelligent Enterprise's 2008 Editors' Choice Awards, which recognizes the vendors that are leading the market in terms of innovation and market influence.

According to Intelligent Enterprise, "Informatica's appeal is not just in its size and stature; it's one of the few vendors offering a combined platform for data integration and data quality." Intelligent Enterprise also observes that "the company has seen nothing but growing demand in the wake of industry consolidation that left this vendor standing as the largest independent data integration alternative."

The Editors' Choice award cites Informatica's leadership in the move towards real-time integration, and notes that recent upgrades extend this "real-time edge" to changed-data capture and fault tolerant messaging. It also comments on the Informatica platform's incorporation of the key elements of data quality, and how Informatica's data quality capabilities have also been extended by recent upgrades.
